Dr. Richard Brewington

Dr. Richard “Ryan” Brewington began his career at Mental Health Partners in 2008, moving to a full-time position in 2009, after earning his Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Missouri – Columbia in 2004 and completing his General Psychiatry residency at The University of Kansas Medical Center in 2008. In March 2020, he joined ReDiscover, becoming Medical Director in February 2021. In addition to specializing in mood, anxiety, eating disorders, and ADHD for adolescent to adult patients, Dr. Brewington has been actively involved in substance use disorder treatment within the crisis setting at ReDiscover. Board-certified in General Psychiatry, he is committed to clinical excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration, emphasizing the crucial integration of medical and allied health efforts. Beyond his professional contributions, Dr. Brewington enjoys sports, theater, outdoor activities, and spending valuable time with family and friends.
